KEEP MARCHING FORWARD

Spring has arrived, yet Minnesota’s weather never fails to surprise me. Even after 13 winters here, I still find myself caught off guard by the cold and windy days of early spring. Just yesterday, my daughter asked me, "Mom, why is it still cold in spring?" She’s so eager to jump into summer and start swimming! I had to remind her of the beauty of the changing seasons and how we, as Minnesotans, get to experience them all. We must embrace each season for what it brings—the quiet stillness of winter, the blossoming renewal of spring, the warmth and joy of summer, and the golden transformation of fall.

For me, spring is special. It symbolizes resilience—the strength of trees, grass, and nature that endure the harsh Minnesota winters and come back to life. It teaches us an invaluable lesson: survival is not just about endurance but about transformation. Just as the frozen ground gives way to new life, we too must push through our personal winters—times of struggle, uncertainty, and hardship—to emerge stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever before.

As an entrepreneur, I see a reflection of this in my journey—ups and downs, joy and sadness, fear and faith. Persistence is key, and this March, I marched forward with force!

This month has been full of incredible opportunities, and I kept saying YES. Each "yes" opened new doors, led me to new people, and helped me expand my vision. I’m thrilled to announce that Namaste Brows and Boutique will be at several spring and summer vendor events:

• April 27th – Spring Market at Nicollet Pavilion

• May 22nd - 25th – Minnesota State Fair Summer Kickoff

• May 31st – Twin Cities Asian Fair

• June 1st – Grand Old Day

I hope to see you there with your friends and family to celebrate, shop, and enjoy these vibrant events together!

Beyond these markets, March also marked a significant personal milestone. I had the privilege of taking an 8-week Retail Cohort class with Chameleon and Neon, and I proudly graduated on March 18th. By the end of May, I will learn whether I have the opportunity to open a retail space in Downtown Minneapolis—an exciting and nerve-wracking possibility! You all are my family, and I’ll need your prayers, support, collaboration, mentorship, and partnership as I step into new possibilities.

Another unexpected blessing this month came through WomenVenture, which opened doors for me in ways I never imagined. I had the honor of showcasing Namaste Brows and Boutique as a vendor at Best Buy Women’s ERG Business Showcase and Resource Fair on March 18th. Then, on March 19th, I had the opportunity to present my boutique’s collections to 200 Wells Fargo employees. The highlight? A spontaneous fashion show that turned out to be a huge hit! Seeing the models bring our designs to life and feeling the energy in the room was a moment I’ll never forget. It reminded me that when you show up, amazing things happen.

But let me tell you something—these opportunities didn’t just fall into my lap. They came from years of showing up—networking, attending classes, building relationships, and staying persistent. People often ask me, "How did you get here?" My answer is simple: persistence, family support, showing up every day with a positive mindset, believing in myself, leaning on my community, and having a heart that is always ready to learn and grow. It hasn’t been easy, but it has been 100% worth it.

Three years ago, I took a leap of faith with Namaste Brows and Boutique. It was a dream, an idea, and a passion wrapped into one. And today, because of all of you—our incredible customers, supporters, and well-wishers—I am dreaming bigger, doing more, and pushing forward every single day. This is not just my journey; it is our journey.

To anyone out there who has a dream in their heart—take that step. Do what you’ve always wanted to do. Do it fearlessly. Know that success isn’t just about talent or luck—it’s about showing up, putting in the work, and believing in yourself even when no one else does. The world follows those who lead with courage and conviction.

So as we say goodbye to March and welcome a new month, let’s all make a promise: KEEP MARCHING FORWARD—no matter the season, no matter the challenge, no matter the obstacles ahead. Because every step forward, no matter how small, brings us closer to the life we are meant to live.
